The e-health modules on https://portal.boncura.nl are written in Dutch by default.
Would you prefer to read the content in English or another language? You can do so easily by using the built-in translation function of your browser.

Below are step-by-step instructions for the most commonly used browsers.

🔵 Google Chrome

Steps:

  1. Open https://portal.boncura.nl in Google Chrome.
  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select “Translate to English”.
  3. If this option doesn’t appear:
    • Look for the translation icon on the right side of the address bar (it looks like a small document or “A” icon).
    • Click the icon and choose “English” or another desired language.
  4. The page will automatically be translated.
  5. Optional: Click “Always translate Dutch” if you want Chrome to do this automatically for all Dutch pages.

To change language settings manually:

  • Go to chrome://settings/languages
  • Add your preferred languages and enable automatic translation.

🟣 Microsoft Edge

Steps:

  1. Open https://portal.boncura.nl in Microsoft Edge.
  2. If the page is in Dutch and your browser language is set to English (or another language), Edge will offer to translate the page automatically.
  3. A translation popup appears below the address bar.
  4. Choose “English” or another target language from the dropdown menu.
  5. Click “Translate”.
  6. Optional: Check “Always translate from Dutch” to apply this automatically in the future.

To adjust language settings manually:

  • Go to edge://settings/languages
  • Add your preferred language and turn on the “Offer to translate pages” option.

🍏 Safari (macOS and iOS)

Safari includes a built-in translation tool (available in macOS Big Sur / iOS 14 and later).

On macOS:

  1. Open https://portal.boncura.nl in Safari.
  2. If the page is in Dutch, Safari will detect it and show a translation icon (a speech bubble with lines) in the address bar.
  3. Click the icon and choose “Translate to English” or another language if available.
  4. Confirm the translation if prompted.
  5. The page will be automatically translated.

On iPhone or iPad (iOS):

  1. Open Safari and navigate to https://portal.boncura.nl.
  2. Tap the aA button on the left side of the address bar.
  3. Select “Translate to English” or another language.
  4. Tap “Enable Translation” the first time you use this feature.

Note: Safari’s translation feature supports a limited number of languages and may not be available in all regions. Make sure your device is updated to the latest iOS or macOS version.
